Hey bride! Let me guess, you've been googling "non-barn wedding venues in Ohio" to be met with scarce results or wildly expensive options. Let me tell ya, I have BEEN THERE. Don't get me wrong I love a good 'ol country barn, but having venue options of different styles lets the imagination run wild. I'm here to help you get out of Google and into your dream wedding venue.
Below is a list of some of my favorite central Ohio venues. These are spaces I have photographed at, toured, or discovered in some form. Full disclosure, none of them are paying me to list them; I truly wanted to round up what I have stumbled upon and share it with my crew. In my opinion, these are some of coolest spots to host a celebration to help you get booked and start the party. Ready? Let's dive in!
PS. Know a killer OH venue that you don't see here? Show them some love in the comment section! I will update this list as I discover new venues to recommend.

Beverly Mansion | $
Eclectic, Romantic, Victorian
I can't say enough about the Beverly—mostly because this space is where I married my best friend! Tim and the staff are detail oriented, easy to work with and honest with pricing. The space itself is a charming, eclectic mansion with a temperature controlled glass tent and indoor outdoor options for the whole day. The elegant rooms host intimate moments while the vast grounds give guests a backdrop to explore. You can choose to book the space for your event on it's own, or add on their catering and linen partners for seamless service.

I can't say enough lovely things about Tesse and her team at BRF. I've shot here over 7 times and am always treated with kindness, hospitality, and the best vendor (and guest) experience. Gorgeous southern-style grounds, cozy lodges, pine tree accents and an open clearing gives this venue loads of photo ops and a charming atmosphere for a rustic wedding day.
Gather | $
Rustic, Boho, Modern Farm House
After hosting my bridal shower here, I couldn't stop thinking about how adorable a mini-mony would be! This venue thrives on it's bohemian-meets-modern farmhouse aesthetic. The staff is wonderfully helpful and provides decor use and per-price add ons that make your celebration a one stop shop. With built in decor and a cozy location like downtown Delaware, Gather is one of my top picks for a cherished day.

Friends when I first stumbled upon this venue my jaw fell to the floor. I could not believe this gem was tucked away just minutes from a bustling downtown city! The elegant grounds are straight out of a Taylor Swift music video with stone arches, princess stair cases, large windows, pine trees and an open field. A must visit in my book.

Catering to midsized gatherings and intimate ceremonies, Mojave East is on my "photography bucket list" and an easy recommendation for the modern bride.
Orchard House | $$
Charming, Elegant, Romantic
If Jane Eyre were from Ohio this is where she'd tie the knot. A charming b&b that provides housing, brunch and a romantic backdrop for a romantic day. The pine forrest in the back makes for an intimate atmosphere for vows and the grounds themselves are spacious enough for an outdoor or indoor toast. Big love for Orchard House!
The Rural Society at Warwick Farm | $$
Location: Mt. Vernon
Eclectic, Open Air, Bohemian
This cutie just might be my new most recommended spot! I'm a sucker for a good greenhouse and this venue has that and more (peacocks, anyone?!). Live animals serve as entertainment in this country-chic
Strongwater | $$
Industrial, Bohemian, Eclectic
This was one of my top picks when we were hunting a venue! Textured intimate space tucked in the arts district of downtown. Add florals and handmade touches to customize the location to your taste. Perfect for a smaller guest list and a swoon-worthy shotlist (And yes I will for sure shoot your wedding here!).

Romantic, Eclectic, Whimsical
Alright friends, I shot one of my most favorite weddings at the surprisingly charming winery in northern Cincinnati. The vision was made possible by the etherial fairy vibes brought in by the bride and groom, but the scenery itself was a treat. Enjoy an outdoor ceremony overlooking the fields, sip on the local wine, and immerse your guests in the historic vineyard space as you forget that you're just 20minutes from the city.

For the artist in all of us, what better place to exchange vows than between Rembrant and Monet (that's a joke I'm not up to speed with their permanent collection!). The museum provides a crisp scene with multiple rooms to celebrate—natural light floods the ceremony space and reception hall. Guests can also explore the works on display throughout your cocktail hour and fall in love with love all over again.

Chic, Industrial-Modern, Timeless
Your guests will be stunned at the natural lighting and moody grounds of the organic-flower-farm-turned-venue. Best for large gatherings, this space is a clean slate that brides fill with florals to juxtapose the neutral background and create a striking ethereal atmosphere. Plus you get options! You'll have two venues on the premise to choose from. You will walk away with crisp images having hosted in one of Columbus' best spots.
Franklin Park Conservatory | $$$
Modern, Tropical, Versatile
Talk about plant love! Franklin Park Conservatory is one of Columbus' most cherished activity centers and the crowds keep coming for obvious reason. The grounds are loaded with diverse plants housed in temperature controlled ecosystems which make an Ohio wedding day look like an exotic tropical celebration. Their stunning greenhouse and outdoor gardens are manicured to a T and serve as the coolest past time for guests to enjoy throughout the day.
Magnolia Farms | $$$

Rustic, Eclectic, Tree-house
Treehouses are hit or miss for me, but the Grand Barn at Mohicans is something special. Not only are the grounds covered with small tree houses for couples to stay in, but the actual reception structure is a mega treehouse! I had to list this as one of the most unique venues I've shot at. Other features include two story seating options, the Newlyweds private treehouse stay in the Nest, and an outdoor patio ceremony option.
